At Ringrose Tree Services, we have more than 25 years’ experience in Plant Health Care
Before you call in a tree surgeon or arborist, a tree health check can give you the early diagnosis essential for ensuring disease, pests and any weaknesses are correctly tackled, and your tree returned to good health as quickly as possible.
At Ringrose we have more than 50 years experience in Tree Surveying. Our ongoing training is the key to our surveyor’s exceptional success rates, and the reason we’re always up-to-date with the latest pests and diseases affecting Oxfordshire and the UK as a whole.
Visual Tree Assessment
The first step in identifying signs of decay or other internal problems, a Visual Tree Assessment begins by correctly identify your trees (you’d be amazed how often trees are wrongly identified).
Visual assessment allows us to detect external symptoms of internal defects. We then measure the tree’s girth, height and spread, and review any current or potential problems.
This is generally conducted from ground level, with a climbing inspection if necessary.
Decay Detection Investigation
If required, a decay detection micro drill investigation will then be conducted. This uses a fine, high resolution needle driven into the wood, to accurately measure resistance and detect decay, hollow areas and ring structure in trees, with minimal impact on the tree.
Report & Plan of Action
The Tree Health Check concluded, you’ll receive a written report with a recommended plan of action, to restore your trees to health and vitality.
